During my time at Victory, I was disheartened to witness and experience several concerning practices that I believe need addressing. Transparency and honesty are paramount in any workplace, yet I found instances that deeply troubled me. One issue was the encouragement from mentors to lie about the state of homeowners' properties. This not only felt unethical but also raised questions about the integrity of our work. Additionally, I had discussions with coworkers expressing regret about setting certain homeowners. It left me puzzled – if our job is honest, why the remorse? Another concern was the lack of transparency regarding the job nature. The company concealed its door-to-door approach until the in-person interview, a practice that struck me as misleading. Similarly, promises of abundant advancement opportunities seemed to contradict the information of long-standing employees, a number of whom expressed limited growth prospects. What disturbed me most was the almost scripted responses from higher-ups when these concerns were raised. It felt like a rehearsed routine, lacking genuine engagement with the issues at hand. Mental gymnastics were employed to justify questionable practices towards both homeowners and employees, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere. Furthermore, the moral ambiguity of these practices took a toll on myself and the newer trainees I'd found myself in confidence with. Numerous colleagues, like myself, grappled with the ethical implications. It's no wonder there is a high drop-out rate. This mass exodus speaks volumes about the troubling aspects of the company culture. These concerns, among others, have led me to share this feedback. It is my hope that Victory reevaluates its practices, embracing transparency, honesty, and fairness. Every employee deserves to work in an environment where they can take pride in their job and the company they represent.
