I worked at VIZ for less than two months, and I can't imagine it having been worse. At the time of hiring, my boss committed to mentor me, always have my back, and always be honest. It didn't take long for her to break those promises. She barely made an effort to get to know me, gave nonspecific and conflicting answers to my questions, had impossible expectations that were never communicated, gaslit me, and insulted my intelligence before suddenly firing me. HR proved to be just as bad, refusing to provide any clarity on what had happened, in addition to being very rude when I had to nerve to ask questions. After reading all the positive reviews and talking to people currently employed at VIZ, I was completely shocked at how my experience turned out. I have never been more disrespected in my career than how VIZ treated me. Beware that they don't do the same to you.
