Pros
The experience working for Volt corporate may be different than working in a branch or as a temporary employee, but I've found the people friendly and supportive, the compensation fair, with a great deal of communication and respect. My department in particular is one of the warmest and most positive places I've ever had the pleasure to be employed. Career Opportunities - I've been considered for a promotion within the first two years of employment; results may vary in different departments Communication - regularly scheduled company conference calls keep everyone in the loop Compensation & Benefits - more than fair in my experience Employee Morale - Everyone I work with seems content and eager to do a good job even if it means working hard Recogniton & Feedback - companywide recognition is reserved for recruiters and branch managers, but my department does its own informal recognition that satisfies me Senior Leadership - I've found them to be sharp and savvy in my daily dealings with them Work/Life Balance - this is one of the few areas lacking Fairness & Respect - At corporate at least, everyone is treated fairly and with respect

The primary one is an old-fashioned policies regarding flexible hours and telecommuting prevented a higher rating for work/life balance.
