Pros

The pros for Volt would be that the office environment is somewhat lackadaisical in the sense that you are not micromanaged and don't feel that you are under your manager's thumb. You are able to get your work done without management stepping over your toes to try to get your job done for you. You have your own personal laptop, if you are a recruiter, otherwise you are assigned to a desktop.

Cons

Minimal amount of training once you start your job and get your initial training. Pay is low compared to other companies. I haven't had a raise and I have been working here for about a year and a half now. I have had two performance reviews since I started, but no plan was set to help me continue my growth potential. They demand that you do more work for less money. I have taken over two roles and have not received a pay increase, and when I asked about it I was told "not at this time". The office environment is loud, but that seems typical for a staffing firm, but no respect for those who are actually working and trying to accomplish their tasks for the day Management does not see that other employees take advantage of the system to achieve their own personal ends. At Volt, you are basically just a number to them and Corporate/management doesn't care about you personally. They just want positions filled however necessary.

Pros

Opportunity to meet and work with amazing people and client companies

Cons

They do not match 401k, you need to find your own coverage to use PTO. Operations is always the scapegoat when something goes wrong. Employees in any department that are not sales are undervalued and under compensated. Nepotism is huge at this company. No job security, layoffs every quarter.
