Western Alliance Bank Response
9yThanks for your review and specific comments about working in IT at Western Alliance. Western Alliance has indeed been growing through acquisition as well as organically at a strong rate, and managing through this kind of change is part of the picture you’re painting. Your concerns about IT could spring, in part, from some of the hurdles of combining systems after acquisitions, which is challenging for most organizations. Recognizing this, we did add more project management staff, as well as HR team members, to support the transition and the company overall.
For Western Alliance, this time of growth in the second half of 2015 set the stage for record performance quarter over quarter, and we are grateful to our hard-working and talented employees for all they did to make this happen.
The big picture is that many people are building long-term careers and do have rewarding, positive work lives at our fast-growing company – and it’s our goal that every employee find the fit they’re seeking within our organization. We regret that working at Western Alliance was not a positive experience for you, and your feedback will help us do better.
Regarding your comment on benefits, we have focused on adding to health benefit options because of employee feedback like yours, and more plans are available in 2016.
