Pros

Salary is OK. Location near AT&T Park is great if you like baseball. Worldwide brand recognition.

Cons

Stealth layoffs. Product organization has more say than marketing or design. Engineering s below average, which stifles growth and any hope of doing anything "cool" or forward-thinking.

Thank you for taking the time to write your feedback. Western Union is expanding its digital offerings globally, and the organizational structure has shifted in order to support this technology focus. Western Union is interested in continuing to drive down bureaucracy wherever there is opportunity. For example, we have leadership development programs, like WU Lead and Leadership in Action, and hope to continue to reduce the number of negative experiences people have with their management/leadership. We would like to get more information about your advice to management. To schedule some time to talk to someone in-person, confidentially, please email: careers@westernunion.com.

Cons

Not enough resources available to drive transformation. Legacy tech. Outdated systems, processes. Too much work expected per employee.
