Pros

My experience at Western Union was shaped largely by the leadership culture—specifically, how well executive team (ET) members communicate with each other and cascaded that clarity down through the organization. When your ET member is aligned, collaborative, and communicative, the work environment feels focused and energized. Information flows better, cross-functional relationships are smoother, and priorities are easier to execute. I have the good fortune of working under a strong ET leader who models this, and it made all the difference in my engagement and ability to contribute meaningfully.

Cons

The experience isn’t always consistent across teams, and communication gaps at the top can ripple down quickly. If the company can continue strengthening leadership alignment and transparency, it will go a long way toward improving the overall employee experience.
