Pros

You get an hourly rate to work from home

Cons

This company has a "Leads Per Hour" quota of 2.0, yet sometimes calls come in at a snails pace, we are talking 7-10 minutes between calls. Then because you do not met your quota, they make you log off of work for the day, put you on disciplinary action, and eventually cut your hours to less than 10 hours per week. Or they just fire you. If you plan to advance in this company, think again! If you are "Promoted" you get a standard .50 cent raise and 150% more job duties, to which they expect done in less than 40 hours. A typical week in QA or management is generally around 50 hours and if you claim overtime they will make you feel guilty for having done so, or urge you to doctor your own time entries to reflect just 40 hours. Management is cut throat, and are a "Clique" if you are not in with the in crowd, get ready to be handed your hat. Whatever "Think Tank" they have, over analyzes bad reports with no basis for comparisons and changes to the company are made at a moments notice with no sense of morals or professionalism. Every year some big change occurs and it only makes the company lose more money. The pay as a new hire is BAD, and if you think you are saving money by not spending it on gasoline, just wait until you get your power bill! This is NOT a Customer Service Job, it is a TELEMARKETING job. Essentially the company gathers 3rd party information from job search engines, and proceeds to solicit low income people looking to find a job, offering for profit colleges that will put them even more into debt, and their degree is worth nothing because the school is not properly accredited. Most time off is unpaid, they offer paid time but if you take paid time that is not "Accrued" it will be deducted from your last pay check. You will not be given adequate time to read the vast amount of emails sent due to the constant restructuring of the company, and if you claim this time as paid, it is in most cases denied as paid time. This company, will most likely be out of business within two years, and that is giving them some credit. Do yourself a favor, find some where else to work. Dedicating your time to this company is a waste of your time investment if you are looking for a long term growing career.
