I was recently terminated from Windy City and in my whole year of employment, a 401K was never offered or discussed. The same holds true for employees who have been with the company for over two years. Also, when I first started "The hiring team" made it clear that we were not telemarketers. Whenever we would call someone with PrivacyDirect which is a service that tells telemarketers to put them on the DO NOT CALL LIST we were urged not to because we were told we were not telemarketers. If that's the case that we are telemarketers then why were our points taken off when we did indeed put those numbers on the DO NOT CALL LIST? Human Resources that was a blatant lie on your part. Also, I along with many other representatives were fired for not meeting performance goals which is 2 leads per hour, DESPITE the fact I had 100% for quality for five months in a row, I even earned a bonus for it. To the end of my employment I managed the required 92% or above standard for quality. For all readers, I am not some angry former employee I am actually quite relieved I no longer hold this job. If you do decide to work for this company, I wish you luck in your endeavors. I will say a lot of the times calls will come in at a snail's pace as one reviewer mentioned, also many of the calls will be sent straight to voicemails, if not then you have people already enrolled in school, needing a diploma, not fluent in English, wrong number and of course simply not interested. The script and the rebuttals must be followed verbatim or you risk getting points deducted from your quality assurance reports, people can tell it is a script no matter how hard you try to sound like it isn't, people are not that stupid. Finally, in your favoring of for profit/private schools you talk about the exponential growth, but what about the statistics and stories of students who have graduated from those schools, not getting a job in their field of study to find that they did not receive the proper training while in school. I know Human Resources and management is aware of this, you are all just trying to keep your jobs and continue to turn that wheel. That wheel will eventually stop though, people are getting wise to not sign up for job websites that make profit by selling their information to lead generation companies and for profit schools will find other ways to snake people in to enrollment. It just isn't fair to all the unknowing representatives whom have a good outlook toward the company. What will happen when they are all suddenly laid off or fired with no preparation?
