Pros
The one major benefit of the position, is that it is entirely from home. I enjoy the fact that I can wake up, have breakfast and coffee, and start work. I also enjoy that, as a work from home position, there are no "office politics", per se.
Cons
The challenges of working for this company are many. 1. We do not get paid nearly enough for what we do, and what we deal with. 2. While the company has instituted a 401k, that is the extend of any benefits. Paid time off is finally being offered also, but the way it is accrued, is completely incomprehensible. I work part time (and had my hours cut some time ago, to boot), so I basically earn none. All other time off is non-paid, which is ridiculous. 3. While management touts the opportunities for growth, in reality, they are next to non-existent. I've worked with the company for some time, and have gotten almost nothing but negative feedback, no opportunities to move upward. 5. I truly feel that the CEO and VP are in far over their heads. What started as an amazing opportunity, makes me feel, in essence, kind of sleazy.
