Pros

-Award system but manager now cuts/rejects awards so its not really a pro anymore -Gym -Free lunches / snacks -Healthcare

Cons

-Stress of the workload, understaffed -Bad management -It doesnt matter how good a company is, if you have a bad manager it makes you dislike the place regardless -Awards being rejected - Making everybody come to the office most days. -no work life home life balance -Telling employees to work over their working hours because so understaffed -if you have a family to go home to or a life outside of work this is not the company for you, you'll feel penalised for leaving the office at the time on your contracted hours.

It’s disappointing to read your comments about how you view your experience here. As you have been with the team for a long time you will most likely be aware that we have recently, like most other businesses, moved forward with our ways of working policy. If your department or role (and your established contracted working arrangement) has a mandate for a particular way of working (fulltime, hybrid, remote) then we appreciate this will be a change in how you have experienced work over the last few years, while the offices were closed. Many of our employees are parents, others have commitments in their personal lives and as a business we support flexibility to ensure work/life balances are maintained. This is reflected in our recognition as a great place to work for women and our active Parents @ Workhuman ERG. I you feel the above doesn’t reflect your working experience I have an open-door policy, and invite you, and any other employees, to discuss your feedback with me directly, as that is the best way to be heard and to address your concerns directly and in confidence. Thanks for the feedback.

Thank you for sharing your feedback and for recognizing the strong relationships, flexibility, and benefits that many employees value at Workhuman. We recognize that customer-facing roles can be fast-paced and that experiences can vary across teams. As our business continues to mature, we're investing in stronger planning, clearer prioritization, and more effective ways of working across the organization. We'd also note that while recognition awards are an important part of our Total Rewards philosophy and are reflected in employees' Total Rewards statements, they are separate from base salary and bonus compensation. Recognition is first and foremost about celebrating meaningful contributions and impact, while also providing employees with tangible rewards for the great work they do. We know there is always more to do, and we remain committed to listening, learning, and improving the employee experience as we continue to grow. Thank you for taking the time to share your perspective.
