Pros
Full-Time Remote and Flexible Schedule
Cons
The leadership at Workiva is very lackluster. OKRs are established without any long-term vision or strategy leaving teams talking in circles resulting in little progress being made on any major initiatives. Everything from R&D to Marketing is identified as a "priority" leaving individuals constantly fighting for resources and/or stakeholder buy-in. Total compensation and time-off benefits are below industry average resulting in a lot of long-term and high-performing employees to pursue new opportunities. Attrition seems to be at an all-time high. Workiva promotes itself as a "great place to work" despite the poor culture that actually exists. Longtime employees seem to reject the experience and perspective of new hires. It's challenging to feel welcomed if you are joining the company without a background in accounting or finance. Boomerang employees frequently claim "it's not what it used to be."
