Pros

Work from home, constant changes, great product, fun customers, lots of travel, when you're in the office you get free food and drinks, but really the product is about the only pro of this company

Cons

From the outside its like your FB profile, amazing, but in reality it's terrible. Like so unbelievably terrible, I can't put it in words. Yes the product is amazing but it stops there. People are constantly talking bad about each other, management has affairs (one tried with me). There is constant lying about pretty much everything. I can't even begin to describe how messed up this company is. The managing directors also love to spend money- it's out of control!! Matt the CEO- thought the gym towels were too hard and spent thousands on replacing them for softer ones. Not a big deal, but when you have employees like the csm that are way way under paid, then it hurts to see money being thrown around like that. I'm in sales and it's crazy the things we see. Sales managers think they are gods gift to the world yet they do nothing except go on "training" meetings which are really just drunken fest (they brag about it and I've seen photos). I make presidents club each year and manage by still treats me terrible.

Pros

Remote work and flexibility Size of company is great - not too big, not too small Great coworkers (aside from the leadership)

Cons

- Horrible psychological work environment. The senior leaders in my department were absolutely terrifying and incredibly nitpicky, rather than encouraging and supportive to their people. - Career growth is a joke at Workiva, and leaders make it clear by their actions (and at times, words) that it's not a priority. I remember sitting on a department call where my VP said, "Growth is not getting a promotion at Workiva," and the context in which she said it made it feel cold, patronizing, and disheartening. Departmental calls were often uncomfortable and totally deflating. - Extremely unrealistic and very subjective standards - No manager accountability - People constantly live in fear, but the work flexibility and "great place to work" facade keep employees stuck in a toxic loop - When they get the slightest whiff of unhappiness, they push you out. I've seen it time and time again (which then creates a toxic fear culture) - Constant gaslighting
