Remote work enhances balance, but management is extremely lacking - Account Manager World Insurance Associates Employee Review

Pros

Fully remote work allows for better balancing if personal time and work hours, and cuts in commute frustrations and costs

Cons

Management is weak and higher-ups are too far removed from the ins and outs of the work that account managers, CSRs and account executives are doing. Communication sis extremely lacking and meetings are done in large groups rather than at a ream level, limiting the ability to properly address concerns on all sides, and wasting other folks' time with teams they aren't involved in.

World is a growing organization with ample opportunity to learn and develop for everyone. We stay true to our stated vision, mission and values. We have a strong desire to serve our clients by helping to protect what they have through insurance. By learning World's systems, processes and procedures you can have a very successful career here. Pros

Good benefits, pay is okay Immediate managers are pretty great and easy to deal with

Cons

The workload is awful. It has made me rethink my life choices. I go home absolutely miserable on a daily basis and tell my kid to make sure he completes college and does what he loves so he doesn’t end up with a job like this. The company acquires agencies faster than they can higher, and the workload gets dumped on the servicers. Truly an awful workload, anytime it’s brought up to management nothing gets done
