Nepotism Narcissism Ineptitude Product Leadership To clarify - Rampant nepotism exists at the highest levels of the org. CEO hires and protects friends and family whilst getting rid of anyone who disrupts the cosy Los Gatos ‘family’. Everything is good as long as you agree with the CEO. Business is run very poorly and has been for a long time. Vista don’t care about this business and are just watching it die. The product is awful and the same problems that have existed for years remain. Horrible user experience and scaling for enterprise clients is an issue. Leadership is so focused on an exit that they just cut through employees in the hope of getting it. No growth so need to cut.
