Pros
Generally speaking, the workforce is a committed workforce. The pay and benefits are good. (The only reason for the overall rating of 2 vs. a 1 is because the pay and benefits are generally good. However, salaried bonuses are seldomly paid out as results have been so poor.) Good innovation. Changes have been made to poor leadership and there may be an opportunity to reset for the future.
Cons
The company lost its way in the last four or five years. Previous "leadership" (not Steve Meszaros - he is no longer CEO even though he's still listed on Glassdoor as such - Lu Kai was CEO for 2 years and has been replaced this year), had no idea how to lead and manage in a global environment. The Chinese leadership was clueless to different cultures and environments and believed that they are the only ones with the answers. Some local leadership is untrustworthy and lie and have been allowed to get away with lies. The company is financially unstable. The culture has deteriorated dramatically making it a place where good people want to leave but many feel trapped. (Been there too long and are afraid of the unknown.)
