Pros

Pay was good with promise of bonus (not realized). Adequate benefits and vacation time with 2 personal days. Able to work remotely.

Cons

Worked there for 6 months and was not given enough project work to fill more than 3 hours a day, even though I advised on several occasions I needed more work. My manager was located remotely and would undermine my work by responding to my emails re-explaining what I already said. One on one calls with my manager were usually canceled at last minute. There was project work but my manager kept them with the explanation that they were too small for my pay grade. On my first week my manager let it be known my region was "messed up". A completely different story was provided to me at my interviews.

Pros

Incredible exposure to the industry and opportunities to meet tons of vendors and manufacturers. You get to see literally every aspect of VAR sales as your job responsibilities/ scope has no end. You will have experience doing literally so many things!

Cons

“Do more with less” is the motto here. Constantly being asked for more (output, process documents, more workload, more OEM coverage) while resources are actively being stripped away. Like, adding headcount but also reorganizing the team to also take headcount away. Asking to grow your renewal rate and outreach and then being rewarded by having even more work to do in the following months / years with the same and often times less pay due to increased quotas. It’s a growing company, which is awesome, but a completely stagnant mindset. Lateral career moves are the only options, and that’s impossible as the team is constantly under water.
