Pros

Company has a relaxed atmosphere, not a ton of turnover. Commission is un-capped. Conservatively run business operations and finance, upper mgmt flexible in taking company into the direction of emerging tech; creates job stability.

Cons

Can be tough to move up depending on department. Pay can also be on the lower end of the scale related to area/position, nepotism not taken into consideration of course. Not a ton of "culture" or team building for the bulk of the company's employees. Still a family/friend run company at it's heart, almost all legacy execs had relationships prior to coming together at ePlus.

Thank you for your feedback about working at ePlus. While we have over 1300 employees, ePlus still has the feel of a small company. We encourage hiring through employee referrals, which accounts for about 50% of our new hires. We encourage you to work with your management and HR team on growth or transitional opportunities so you can make the most of your career at ePlus.

Pros

Incredible exposure to the industry and opportunities to meet tons of vendors and manufacturers. You get to see literally every aspect of VAR sales as your job responsibilities/ scope has no end. You will have experience doing literally so many things!

Cons

“Do more with less” is the motto here. Constantly being asked for more (output, process documents, more workload, more OEM coverage) while resources are actively being stripped away. Like, adding headcount but also reorganizing the team to also take headcount away. Asking to grow your renewal rate and outreach and then being rewarded by having even more work to do in the following months / years with the same and often times less pay due to increased quotas. It’s a growing company, which is awesome, but a completely stagnant mindset. Lateral career moves are the only options, and that’s impossible as the team is constantly under water.
