Pros

Your peers at ePlus will be some of the best people to work with, you will learn and have fun at work daily. There are not enough good things I could say about the people who work at the company as a whole.

Cons

There is no room for growth. I worked at ePlus for many years and each year the merit raises were cut and no room for promotion. It seems that if you want to become anything at ePlus you need to be hired at a management/director level because you will not get there by starting from the bottom and working your way up. Also, ePlus acquired companies almost yearly but still believes and sells the story that they are not giving raises due to their finances especially after COVID, but again they acquired a company during the pandemic.

Pros

Incredible exposure to the industry and opportunities to meet tons of vendors and manufacturers. You get to see literally every aspect of VAR sales as your job responsibilities/ scope has no end. You will have experience doing literally so many things!

Cons

“Do more with less” is the motto here. Constantly being asked for more (output, process documents, more workload, more OEM coverage) while resources are actively being stripped away. Like, adding headcount but also reorganizing the team to also take headcount away. Asking to grow your renewal rate and outreach and then being rewarded by having even more work to do in the following months / years with the same and often times less pay due to increased quotas. It’s a growing company, which is awesome, but a completely stagnant mindset. Lateral career moves are the only options, and that’s impossible as the team is constantly under water.
