Pros

Consistent work, Fast paced, Advancement opportunities.

Cons

Huge lack of caring and competent leadership, continual favoritism, and almost zero transparency within teams and the company. Upper management intensions are questionable, when it comes to they're lazy, half-tried "bettering of the work place" and seems to only look out for each other. Complete lack of structure and accountability in my instance. Will go to and rely on unnecessary software first (which is without a doubt has a major intention of dropping employees) instead of helping their employees and going to them first. If you are not "kissing boot" and "falling in line", the company will quickly turn their back on you, and you certainly can feel it. 100% through and through a sales company (NOT TECH), where the numbers and bottom-line comes before their employees. ePlus will promise you the world to get you in, but hardly will follow through on promises, and if they do, it would have taken an insultingly long time. Once you are in, the promises will continue to get dumped with little effort to keep them or follow through. HR can hardly be taken seriously, the many issues brought to their attention either never gets addressed, or more often, take way longer than they should. Expanding company but leaves the employees to constantly scramble and catch up to the demand. Turn-over rate (particularly with contractors) is so bad its almost more funny than sad. Overtime is structured against you. Unnecessarily confusing (and almost seems intentional), to the point you just want to avoid it all together. As for Covid-19 precautions, unsurprisingly, a complete flop. Sluggish response to the pandemic. HR waited days to inform employees of potential exposure, instead of immediately. Does not take possible exposures seriously, because again, numbers first. Will quickly let go of some of their best, without any effort to keep them if they left on their own accord. In all, there certainly is opportunity to be successful at ePlus, if you are willing to give up any moral's and integrity you have to become a corporate, 1980's mindset business robot. Otherwise, I would advise to look elsewhere.

Pros

Incredible exposure to the industry and opportunities to meet tons of vendors and manufacturers. You get to see literally every aspect of VAR sales as your job responsibilities/ scope has no end. You will have experience doing literally so many things!

Cons

“Do more with less” is the motto here. Constantly being asked for more (output, process documents, more workload, more OEM coverage) while resources are actively being stripped away. Like, adding headcount but also reorganizing the team to also take headcount away. Asking to grow your renewal rate and outreach and then being rewarded by having even more work to do in the following months / years with the same and often times less pay due to increased quotas. It’s a growing company, which is awesome, but a completely stagnant mindset. Lateral career moves are the only options, and that’s impossible as the team is constantly under water.
