Pros

- one of the best compensation & commission structures in the market - no useless KPIs like most large firms - flexible schedule - no micromanagement - brand new office space : standing desk, shuffleboard, darts - large cubes & personal space with personal closet - every manager has an open door policy - no heavy administrative work, you can truly focus on recruiting & sales - forward thinking with resources & tools - top performers are recognized & rewarded - great firm for someone coming from agency experience - positive name recognition with clients - annual company events & social outings

Cons

- could be better benefits - your experience could be completely different from someone else, all depending on what group you land in - periods of office drama / gossip, but that’s everywhere The main thing I see is that employees can be their own worst enemy. You have a lot of freedom here versus other firms, so that you can treat your desk as if you are running your own business. With that, comes plenty of complacent people that do the bare minimum and don’t have a clue how rough other firms can be. We are a small, family owned firm that does not have a corporate training program, so each division trains and manages their own way, which is why we normally hire people with agency experience. Every group and manager has its pros and cons, but it’s ultimately on you to ask for help or speak up, if you feel you need more training, or have an issue. All of the management here has room for improvement, and everyone should strive to want to continuously improve themselves whether they are a manager or producer.

Pros

Small Company environment. Good office location.

Cons

1. Management Relationships: It has come to my attention that there is a personal relationship between the owner and a lower-level employee, which raises potential concerns regarding professionalism and workplace dynamics, particularly given the significant age difference. This situation may inadvertently create perceptions of favoritism within the team. 2. Leadership Competence: There appears to be a lack of direction and understanding among upper management regarding effective operational practices. This has led to a workplace environment that can feel disorganized and unstructured. 3. Work Environment: The overall atmosphere may be likened to a "small-town" mentality, where casual interactions often overshadow professional standards. While a friendly environment can be beneficial, it may sometimes result in a lack of accountability and seriousness in business operations. 4. Training and Development: There seems to be a significant deficit in training for employees, particularly in areas such as sales techniques and recruitment processes. Current management practices do not seem to prioritize employee development, with an emphasis placed on external events instead of investing in the workforce's skills and resources. 5. Performance and Advancement: It appears that employees may feel compelled to engage in excessive flattery to secure their positions, which can undermine a culture of meritocracy and professional growth.
