IMHO, iQor is the best BPO I know in the Philippines. My review is based on my first-hand experience with the company. - Customer Service Representative (CSR) iQor Employee Review

Pros

BPO jobs offer exposure to a global workplace, which can lead to a deeper understanding of diverse cultures and business practices. Often provides competitive salaries, which are attractive to many individuals.

Cons

BPO jobs require working in shifts, including night shifts, which can disrupt your social life and lead to health problems. The high-stress nature of some BPO jobs and the need to work against your body's natural rhythm can lead to sleep disorders, eye strain, and other health issues. Despite the exposure, the potential for promotions and vertical career growth can be limited in many BPO positions. You may have to deal with difficult and unhappy clients, which can be stressful and frustrating. Job security can be an issue due to factors like the outsourcing of jobs to countries with lower labor costs, changes in currency exchange rates, and strict zero-tolerance policies.

Pros

It's a steady paycheck with decent health insurance options.

Cons

There is very little room for advancement. The company is loyal to those already in management, regardless of how poorly they preform and how many employees they lose as a result. No amount of effort nor performance on your part will change that. There is no discussing issues involving management with HR. The environment is toxic and unprofessional. The salaries offered are at the lowest point of the spectrum for the industries they support.
