Pros

If you have no education and need a job, they will hire you

Cons

Cons, wow there are so many! Your paycheck will never come with a pay stub and the website to see your paystub is almost impossible to access. your paycheck is almost gauranteed to be wrong EVERY PAY PERIOD. Management is very unprofessional and only manages their own individual compensation and perception, not the product they were hired or promoted to manage. During my tenure in management another manager or AVP(Assistant Vice President) told me "He didn't care about client goals or hitting those goals as long as he got a big bonus". Sallie Mae i hope you read this. The system and tech they use is completely outdated and prohibits a decent work flow and cost the company lots of money. And although they know the equipment is limited and hampers production, they will use it against you in quarterly reviews unless you're in the in crowd. The training sucks and when there is a change in policy or procedure nothing is put writing and properly distributed so everyone is aware and can make the appropriate adjustments. This probably done so management can easily change whatever rule they want and apply it as they see fit. This technique is usually applied to have reasoning for taking back entire bonuses from employess.

Pros

It's a steady paycheck with decent health insurance options.

Cons

There is very little room for advancement. The company is loyal to those already in management, regardless of how poorly they preform and how many employees they lose as a result. No amount of effort nor performance on your part will change that. There is no discussing issues involving management with HR. The environment is toxic and unprofessional. The salaries offered are at the lowest point of the spectrum for the industries they support.
