Pros

(1) Clinical trial software development is a very challenging and fast pace (2) You can get fired any time if you are not up to the speed once you get hired or if you plan to slack off (3) Very rewarding if you are a smart and hard worker (4) Great team of employees (5) All the developers are very knowledgeable and help full (6) Flexible hours and work schedule (7) You can work from home when ever you want to, don't have to ask any one (8) Career advancement opportunities (9) It's a world wide establishment, so easy relocation opportunities where ever you want to.

Cons

(1) Coding and formatting is too messy, each developers are doing there own way of coding that make it hard to read and understand the logics. Too much unnecessary coding for simple solutions. There is no rules to follow when writing codes. (2) Expect bigger bonus and Salary increments very year (3) It would be nice we have more options of health coverage, like multiple providers to choose from. (4) It would be nice if we can move to downtown, not may restaurants around where we are now.

Pros

The people. My manager. The office. Pretty relaxed culture. A lot of autonomy in my job. Best benefits I've had. The product is the best in our industry. Career advancement opportunities. I feel appreciated for what I do.

Cons

Sometimes the workload/clients can be unpredictable. Can be a very fast pace that some don't deal with as well.

Pros

Product is tangible/real and helps greatly pharmas conduct live human drug clinical trials. Friendly people, smart colleagues and fun. Nice SF north beach location under Coit Tower. Can work from home 1 day a week. Senior Mngt is VERY industry savvy - exceptional.

Cons

No personal privacy space in an extreme open office environment. Deadlines rarely adjusted for too tight delivery schedules. Some teams unfairly criticized against other teams. Pay is much lower than the norm for this type of high tech work in SF.
