Pay was awful and career progression was almost impossible. They preferred to outside hire less experienced person rather than promote from within

Private Equity has crippled this company

Pros

Great team, flexible work schedule, some interesting projects

Cons

Once a flourishing employee owned company, private equity has since destroyed any benefits or bonusses. There is a lot of distrust between upper management and the rest of the company leading to low morale among employees. All the good talent is going elsewhere and the remaining engineers are left with a heavy workload and mediocre resources. High turnover

Pros

The pay is OK (not great) as long as you have realistic time allotments per job.

Cons

Unrealistic time frames to complete work. Designers are out of touch with the CAD Techs in regards to how much time it takes to complete projects. CAD Techs end up having to work on their OWN time to keep jobs current, thereby reducing their hourly wage income by as much as half at times.
