Lack of true leadership

Pros

Some great friendships made but all of those friends seem to leave. The poor management drives people out of Ensemble and it is a "stepping stone company" Definetly growth potential if you work hard however some leadership members like to hold people back so they dont have to work to find their replacement.

Cons

High demands for amount of pay Poor Communication from the top down Unrealistic productivity expectations Abysmal company culture Cheap - cut $ corners at every turn. Don't match 401k Used the excuse that they were a "startup" when asked for a pay raise. If you have 6,800 employees you aren't a startup. RCL/POP team is a disorganized mess

At Ensemble, one of our key principles is centered on personal development and continuous improvement. From a leadership development perspective, we have created competencies that define what we expect from each leader which helps clarify areas of future growth. We provide extensive support for new and newly promoted leaders. All leaders have a learning plan aligned with their level, whether they are front-line supervisors or the head of a function. One of our key principles is centered on personal and technical development. Every individual has a learning plan and leadership competencies aligned to their role. We encourage career conversations during each quarterly goal review between the associate and their leader. Continuous improvement is expected, so obtaining a certification, completing role-based training, or leveraging one of the many career development tools is encouraged.

Pros

Watching the horrible reviews pile up, all saying the same thing, while Shannon or whoever keeps copy pasting the same weak response over and over, while not directly addressing the concern. This seems to be the theme within this dumpster fire.

Cons

Everything is a con.. Run from this place unless you want to end up in an asylum because of how brain dead the work and leadership is here.. Haha!

Pros

Internal department team and support from that team is exceptional.

Cons

The structure was not setup for continuous growth. The company has gone from great to sub-par due to the hiring and promoting of Sr. Leadership, VP and above, with old school management style of leading by fear and unattainable expectations with the lack of staff and resources.
