Pros

Working from home, that's it

Cons

Low pay, benefits are not great, no compassion from management, training is awful, they try to tell you they are the best place to work but the vast majority of their employees would not agree. Absolutely terrible communication.

We are sorry that this was your experience while employed at Ensemble. One of our key principles is centered on personal and technical development. Every individual has a learning plan and leadership competencies aligned to their role. We encourage career conversations during each quarterly goal review between the associate and their leader. Continuous improvement is expected, so obtaining a certification, completing role-based training, or leveraging one of the many career development tools is encouraged. We are also extremely committed to promoting a culture of inclusion at our organization with our commitment led by a dedicated culture and inclusion team and strategy, which keeps us moving forward. We provide countless opportunities to speak up about ways to improve our company, and we encourage this each and every day. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. At any time, we welcome you to contact us directly with your personal story at askjudson@ensemblehp.com or tellshannon@ensemblehp.com and let’s discuss your perception and experience together.

Pros

They give away massive amounts of prizes/cash at Christmas party (online), but wish they put that back into pay

Cons

disorganized, not enough managers/directors, grew too quickly, lump all "procedures" into 1 production group- So if you are coding complex surgeries with lots of codes and review/research they are grouped together with central lines, joint injection, or paracentesis- at 13/hour. No way to code advanced surgeries for some specialties at 13/hour. Some you can't even just read the Op note at 13/hour, much less code it out and enter it.

Pros

Remote work options, diversity and inclusion is valued, promotes internally, flexible scheduling, great direct leadership team. Did not layoff during COVID 19 and tries not to layoff if possible.

Cons

No help to achieve work life balance at the exempt management level. Leadership training could improve at the department level. Pay for supervisors and managers could be better especially compared to competitors. HR processes such as doing PIP and then corrective action for performance issues seems great at first but to execute effectively it requires resources the supervisors and managers do not always have. No consistent 401k matching.

Here at Ensemble, we believe strongly in paying for performance, and we offer a competitive compensation package that has been designed to reward results. We are very proud of our robust incentive plans that add value to the base wages for our associates, in addition to the comprehensive benefits package that we offer. Our intent is to have a career ladder for every position within Ensemble, so each associate knows what the qualifications are for internal growth. From a leadership development perspective, we have created competencies that define what we expect from each leader which helps clarify areas for future growth. We provide extensive support for new and newly promoted leaders. All leaders have a learning plan aligned with their level, whether they are front-line supervisors or the head of a function.
