This one is hard! I truly don't have any cons about this company.

Pros

I think anyone who has had a few jobs knows that each company likes to fill you with all kinds of ideas in orientation that their company culture is the best. They tell you that the people who work there are team players and why they're a great company to work for. It all sounds so amazing until time after time, they prove to you that it isn't true. Or, that it might be true at the top but the effect doesn't trickle down to your department. Well, I've been at Ensemble now for about 6 months. They promise some amazing things in orientation: Transparent communication, opportunities for growth, leaders who actually listen, a chance to voice concerns and actually have them heard, community service, and the list goes on. Being the jaded employee I was, I thought to myself, "Wow, that sounds amazing. Too bad it probably wont actually happen." So, I waited like I'm sure many others do for the other shoe to drop. But, they delivered on those promises. My training experience was exceptional. My team is amazing and always willing to answer my questions. My management team is available when I need them. The president of the company, and the senior VP of the company come to your orientation if they're not out getting more business and allowing this company to grow more. They hold Town Hall meetings where they let us know everything that is happening in the company (transparent communication) and answer anonymous questions submitted by employees. For the first time in my life, I feel like I'm at a company that doesn't lie to me and that is really invested in developing me into a leader. Leaving my previous company and taking this job has been the best decision of my career hands down.

Cons

No company is without its faults. Although Ensemble doesn't have many, I'm sure every department is different. With the growth we are experiencing and the growth we are still anticipating, I believe everyone is feeling some pressure. You are expected to work hard (which isn't a con) but as the company goes through changes you need to be very flexible and adaptive. Your job responsibilities might change from day to day depending on the needs of the company. That might be a con for someone who doesn't like change but alas this is healthcare and change is inevitable.

Pros

On sight Management cares, not Corporate! All they care about is the bottom line- which only makes their pocket full of profits and bonuses.

Cons

Corporate is full of VP's and no respect for anyone below them.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. While it can be hard to respond without context and background, we wanted to take the time to provide a response to you. It is concerning that you chose this format to voice your concerns when we have so many different avenues for open communication and the ability for our associates to talk to any level of leadership. Here at Ensemble, communication with each other, our team members, leaders and across the company is imperative to the success of Ensemble and the results that we produce for our clients. Each and every day our associates have the chance to meet with their team and their leader to talk about what’s working, ways to improve and things that are going on around the company. Every week, our senior leadership team sends out communication to all of our associates, no matter their location. We have a newsletter, a company intranet, additional weekly e-mails that are sent to our associates and many other different ways that we communicate across our company. We provide countless opportunities to speak up about ways to improve around our company, and we encourage this each and every day. In fact, just last week we asked specifically for feedback on how we can better make you feel communicated with and valued here at Ensemble. Ensemble has also been very active in your community with charitable contribution and strives to put People First, Last and Always. We invite you to please contact us directly with your personal story at tellshannon@ensemblehp.com or heyemily@ensemblehp.com or our personal cell phone numbers which are published and let’s discuss your perception and experience together.
