Pros

Depends on your department. Generous PTO.

Cons

Pay is horrendous. They make a huge deal about yearly reviews. I exceeded expectations and earned the lowest cost of living increase. No good raises. I was severely underpaid in my field. They cut costs by hiring global associates. This actually hurts their business because the language barrier is too much. Internal promotions are a joke. They spend too much time coming up with yearly initiatives that have nothing to do with revenue cycle management and these goals force us to do other activities that take away from actual work.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re happy to hear that you found the PTO to be generous and such a positive attribute. Here at Ensemble, we believe strongly in paying for performance, and we offer a competitive compensation package that has been designed to reward results. We're also very proud of our robust incentive plans that add value to the base wages for our associates, in addition to the comprehensive benefits package that we offer. We appreciate your feedback and wish you continued success in your new role.

Pros

The pay was ok - not incredible, but not that bad either.

Cons

If I could give them zero stars, I would. From the ridiculous christmas parties with extravagant gifts for only like 10% of the employees to leaders not following through on promises to help, it's just bad. They're not flexible at all. When emergencies come up, you're made to feel like a criminal for needing the time off, even though they make a big deal about being flexible and allowing you to go negative on PTO - which used to be allowed up to 40 hours no matter what, but not all teams follow this policy now. If you're someone that literally nothing ever happens in your life and family, then this may be the place for you. As long as you don't mind not getting information and assistance to carry out your work duties in a timely manner.

Pros

Work remotely. Loved the team that worked for me and my direct report leader.

Cons

Favoritism among upper leadership. No support from upper leadership. Low pay for all the work that is required. The organization counts on you to be “excited” about their bonus structure, but that is VERY conditional money and I learned early not to count on that money OR a raise. Because if don’t fit in the bell curve the will cut your score on your annual evaluation.
