Unrealistic productivity requirements, questionable ethics, and too many leaders that don't communicate with one another. Senior leadership is a club and you're not in it. The pay is well BELOW what you will find from other companies, the benefits are expensive, and the PTO is not great. You are overwhelmed with policies and procedures that you're told at first not to pay too much attention to and then during your audit you're told that you should already know this material because you checked off on the 180+ policies that you were assigned when you started. You are scheduled for multiple meetings per week and required learning modules that take up several hours per week but you have to continue working through these meetings. You'll waste a lot of time tracking productivity and downtime in spreadsheets when reports already exist in Epic that would cover the criteria you're asked to input. You will also be required to work denials on top of your daily coding productivity requirements despite having an existing denials team. Workqueues are always behind with no sympathy from directors for cutting down on the amount of filler activities you are required to do and overtime will be mandatory if KPI is not met. If you pay attention to anything in this review, let it be this: The stress from this job is not worth sacrificing your mental and physical health for. Apply elsewhere.
