      Pros

      Free food sometimes, some coworkers are great people.

      Cons

      Random layoffs, toxic management, supervisors with no experience in what they are running, ignored safety concerns, no communication, no fair conflict resolution.

      Decent pay and some good workers

      Pros

      Prior to their acquisition CMC materials was a good company to work for and gave me the opportunity to become a supervisor as I grew with the company. The pay is competitive and the people at the supervisor level and below are solid.

      Cons

      No trust with the HR department to do the right thing. They try to find scapegoats constantly to throw under the bus. They do not support the middle management that works there. The site director that Entegris brought in ran the place into the ground. When I left I was averaging at least one day a week that was a 14 hour+ work day due to mandatory meetings every week.

      Pros

      Salary and benefits are somewhat competitive. In the beginning it was a good place to work, but it didn't last.

      Cons

      Let's start with management. They don't know what they are doing. They are not held accountable by upper management for bad decisions and don't hold themselves accountable. Morale is at zero. Quality is terrible. It is unsafe to work there. EHS is a joke. Facilities is a joke. The place is falling apart. The mentality is that we've always done it this way. They haven't progressed into the 21st century. Nothing is state of the art there, it's the opposite. Do not go to work here if you don't have to. Hard working people don't get advanced and aren't valued. They have a corporate term of Pace Values. Not here. They are repeatedly violated and no one cares. HR is there to protect the company not the employees.
