Pros
The people who work here are very passionate about the mission that the company stands for. The work itself is fun and fulfilling. Vacation and sick pay are generous.
Cons
Salary is by far not competitive. I was paid vastly below what others with my job title and location are paid. I was overworked and underpaid, and brought this up repeatedly, but nothing was done about it. Corners are cut to mitigate costs, but frugality comes with the territory of working at a non-profit. Zero room for growth – my role was very cut and dry. No space to take on more responsibilities. Performance feedback should be more proactive and transparent; receiving a dismal performance review after what I thought was a stellar year was very discouraging.
