Pros

Driving nice cars?? I guess??

Cons

Have to cater to the customers even if they’re completely wrong so you can try to get a 5 star review from them which enterprise does not even send to every customer. Customer base was horrible. Washing cars in dress clothes is a complete joke. The promotions are laughable. Oh did I mention when you get promoted to an assistant manager and a customer damages a car it comes out of your commission ? Because you’re “learning how to run a business”. They also try to sell the people who are good at their jobs on working the airport with terrible hours and no regular schedule, no thanks. You’re also promoted based on how much of their crappy insurance you sell to customers. They love to rip off insurance customers and tell them they’re responsible for sales tax which is completely not true, the insurance company covers the sales tax as well but they try to put you in the largest vehicle possible depending on how much your insurance gives you for your car therefore making that customer responsible for sales tax.

Pros

Opportunity to make money, promote internally but beware of favoritism, corporate bullying, unethical manipulative structured « business »

Cons

Company is extremely shady. They do not care one bit about their employees. Always use scare tactics to get you to perform which got worse with the pandemic. All positive reviews are fake. Any former employee within the last 5 years can tell you that they worked unreasonable hours, that the pressure from management is crippling, that management bullies and forces your hand to do whatever it takes to perform (make them money). The pressure to achieve unachievable goals got several employees fired for unethical sales. Enterprise is basically the Wells Fargo of the rental industry. Environment is toxic. I was a top performer and left at my own will because of the level of stress that came with the job.

Pros

Vacation/choice time & stepping stone to another career

Cons

Management is horrible which lead to a lot of issues within the branch. The lack of training, leadership, communication, accountability when it comes to management is the core issue. I experienced a lot of traumatizing events due to working at Enterprise such as sexual harassment, hostile work environment, toxic work environment, bullying, and being threatened from my coworkers which caused a lot of stress on top of an already stressful job. Enterprise is a revolving door. They do NOT care about you. HR is there to protect the company and themselves. Not the employees. If you go to HR you will receive retaliation within the branch so it’s not even worth going to HR.... Employees are internally dead and you will burn yourself out. Also shown in management. I’ve had 4 branch managers within a year.... You won’t even have the energy to give a two weeks notice. This was the worst working experience ever. Save your mental health from this “company”. They will sell you the dream of “your career is in your hands” and it’s not. Enterprise needs to get it together.
