Bad Leaders

Pros

The pay at the time was not bad. Salary can be higher than average. There was a good annual bonus and also long term comp or RSUs that you get granted and can cash in at distribution, It may be worse now after the troubles and restructuring that happened.

Cons

Everything on the surface seems good until you see the actual internal culture and just a lot of incompetency at the top with ego, so they are unable to listen and learn from people they hire.

Pros

Leave to go home after a shift, anytime off even if it's for having a tooth pulled

Cons

Untrustworthy, sneaky, not transparent to workers, under paid and over worked. Training programs is useless.

Thank you for sharing your perspective. We are deeply concerned to hear how strongly you felt about your experience and the challenges you expressed in your review. Feedback like this is not taken lightly, and it is important to us that no one feels disrespected or unsupported in their role. We know how critical transparency, trust, and effective training are to a healthy workplace, and we are actively working to improve in all of these areas. While there is a structured training program and career pathway for plant operations roles, we are reviewing and enhancing our training content based on feedback from associates and plant leaders. With new HR leadership in place, there is a strong focus on strengthening our culture and improving how we communicate with and support our associates. We remain committed to fostering a work environment that values inclusion, accountability, and continuous improvement. To help us better understand and improve, we invite you to share more about your experience by contacting us at info@envivabiomass.com.
