Pros

Snacks in every office Great office spaces Lots of money spent on snacks Those office spaces sure look expensive

Cons

CFO doesn't spend money well CTO doesn't know anything about the platform or technology, he does love to star in movies though! well done him! Technology team spends money on non-existent problems, building platforms that will never be production ready or useful.

Pros

Health benefits are top notch, unlimited PTO/summer breaks are nice, people are generally good people

Cons

The benefits no longer outweigh the chaotic, burnt out environment and culture that epic has. Very little focus on maintaining processes, laid off the people dedicated to working on improvements/maintaining resources so now things are breaking and no one has time to fix it. Started to feel pressure /guilt trips from leadership to not take as much time off even though there is an unlimited PTO policy. Having to crunch and getting lots of urgent work thrown our way, but when performance reviews come around they can’t tell us what rating we received. It has become demotivating, and even though the benefits are amazing I probably won’t stay much longer

Pros

-Pay/benefits are absurdly good -Working with some of the most talented people in the industry

Cons

-Infinite growth mindset that really churns people, with management squeezing as much as they can from employees -Really feels like Epic is focused on quantity instead of quality as of late
