Pros

1) Flexible timing 2) Work from home facility 3) No tracking of log in hours 4) work and learning

Cons

Below are for ITC 1) Managers/Directors talk/suggest bluntly without knowing the ground reality of what is happening in team 2) Unnecessary escalations from team out of India and managers/Directors start defining action of items bluntly for team here 3)Team out of India doesn't support employees here, seems they are afraid of ITC 4) CTO looks and talks good he keeps visiting ITC but not sure he is being fooled or he is blind about managers/Directors over here Work and learning is good but the managers /Directors behavior towards the team spoils the mood

Very Few US Jobs

Pros

I worked for Epicor for 25 years as a software developer. I loved my job because of the wonderful people and interesting work. I was working in a department which created products to help privately owned hardware stores stay profitable in a changing retail environment.

Cons

The company is now run by its fourth private equity firm. Each private equity firm has overseen mergers, name changes, acquisitions, layoffs, and the farming out of business functions to other companies in order to turn a profit on its buyout. Under the third private equity firm, upper management began moving engineering and customer support personnel jobs to Mexico and India. The only US jobs filled were very high salary upper management positions of which there seemed to be too many. This spoke to me of cronyism in upper management. The layoffs of US based engineering and support personnel have made supporting the many US Epicor clients difficult. To me this does not speak well for the continuing health of the US products I had supported.
