Pros
The good thing about this job was being able to learn about the different biomedical equipment and products that were sold and helping customers with technical support when they broke down.
Cons
There were only maybe 5-7 agents available to answer calls at one time for supporting the entire US and Canada. The call volume was about 1,000 calls a day so be prepared to answer at least 100 phone calls every day. The average hold time for customers was about 30 min so be prepared for really pissed off customers who have been waiting on hold. The customers will take their anger out on you and the manager will punish you for it. The work hours were long because you spent 8 hours answering phone calls and worked over time for another 4 hours to complete administration work. Expect to work 12 hour days most days of the week. The sales reps required your assistance multiple times a day and if you could not get to their question within an hour they will report you to the manager and get you in trouble. The level of stress in this environment was extremely high. I would not recommend this place to work to anyone.
