Most areas were very clean and updated and professional

Cons

IT department would not offer help and if they did, they would ramble off so you could not understand what they were saying like they wanted you to fail, I was constantly politely asking individual to speak louder and yet was put down for asking so, The IT department had hygiene issues: I would literally disinfect any computer equipment before I used it

Pros

Good benefits and work-life balance under New Brunswick Scientific. Fellow employees were hard working and loyal. The lower management worked as a team.

Cons

Eppendorf North America bought our company, New Brunswick Scientific, in 2007 and swore they'd keep the staff, then turned around and fired everyone over the course of next 4 years. Shut the Edison, NJ facility down and squashed 400 jobs in NJ in 2011. Soon after they purchased NBS in 2007, they immediately took the company private and bought out all stockholders. RED FLAG of what was surely it's demise. Promotions were non-existent. No room to move up.

Strong technology and reputation among its customers. Low staff turnover. Multinational firm with the opportunity to get global exposure. Market-level compensation and benefits.

Cons

German headquarters often slows down or overrides decision making. Executive turnover is a concern. Very slow to adopt new technology, and business process maturity is low (which drives the slow adoption).
