Pros

Great people to work with. Very few oddballs, there are some though! Until recently (2012) there were very few layoffs and it was a wonderful place to work at. However, with the demise of the economy and the printing industry, as a whole - it's getting scary in here!

Cons

Terrible review process, no promotions, you pretty much stay as you are. No professional development. Layoffs are horrific. No warnings. Not much compensation either. HR comes with your boxes and off you go at 5 pm. Horrible process.

Toxic leadership/dated ideology

Pros

Respected a majority of the coworkers

Cons

Leadership has their heads in the sand. There is soo much waste and out dated processes it literally costs them tens to hundreds of thousands of dollars a year. Got let go and department was offloaded oversees. The end user experience was already in shambles and this kind of thinking made it even worse in the sake of saving a few bucks while leaving the current major issues still present.

Not what it used to be

Pros

Pretty good products Most coworkers are great decent benefits

Cons

The company isn’t what it used to be. I was singled out by a new manager who never fully learned the role and micromanaged from across the country. There were no clear goals, directions, or targets to hit. He would ask for one thing, then later claim he asked for something different. The constant stress and dysfunction got in the way of our work, yet despite this I was still over 100% YOY. Our director was absent and uninvolved. I reported my manager’s inappropriate behavior to HR and was not believed. He then created misleading narratives and left the company three weeks after I was pushed out. It felt like it was meant to send a message after I reported him. He created a culture of fear, and my entire team only felt safe speaking up once he was gone. The culture simply isn’t the same anymore.
