Pros

There is a pretty relaxed environment. Their pay is ok. There are some cool people. They take care of shop equipment fairly quickly.

Cons

Low pay compared to the market. Management plays favorites indiscreetly, so good luck if you are not in the "in" crowd. The shop is a dump, the concrete is busted horribly. Good luck not getting a forklift stuck. Employee turnover rate is horrible. Wonder why....

Great team, great work life balance, great office building

Cons

Parent company recently announced they’re going through an acquisition. Stability is rocky right now. Parent company (MLA) is taking volunteers for voluntary separation right now. Assume more layoffs are on the horizon in the next few months. Be cautious going into this until the dust settles. Benefits aren’t great either. Traveling can be a bit much depending on the role.

Exciting industry and strong product / service offering Great colleagues and enjoyable culture Ample opportunities to drive improvements and develop talent to leave your mark Sr. management is firm with their expectations while valuing you and your contributions

Cons

Finance runs very lean, at least within ops. Nights and weekends are required if you strive to do more than the essentials. EQD and the industry at large are navigating challenging market conditions after an explosive market in ‘21/‘22. This will eventually improve. Systems and processes are highly manual and drawn out in some cases - and often seem to not be a priority.
