      Pros

      Depending on your role and department within the organization you work with a great staff. Everyone is willing to help you learn and grow. I receive a lot of exposure to new things on the administrative end. Since EHS is a teaching hospital it would be a great opportunity to take on duties and projects that build your resume.

      Cons

      The medical benefits are a bit crappy. Erlanger has several policies in place that require employees to use only Erlanger physicians and facilities to avoid penalties.

      Good place to start out at for beginners experience in healthcare. labeled as a teaching hospital

      Cons

      Company do not appreciate employees. Pay scale is not not fair market value for clinical staff or associates in non clinical areas.

      Pros

      I have worked at Erlanger for 5 years. I have worked with AMAZING physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff at Erlanger that make coming to work rewarding despite crappy pay/benefits. I think with current CEO good changes are happening just veeeeeery slowly.

      Cons

      Pay is not competitive and there are abundant incompetent people in positions of power. The progress that could be made is killed by the incompetent people dropping the ball.
