Pros

Working at Eskenazi Health as an RN was a valuable and fulfilling experience. The hospital serves a highly diverse patient population, many of whom face complex health and social challenges. What stood out to me most was the organization’s commitment to community health and providing quality care regardless of a patient's ability to pay. Teamwork was strong—providers, nurses, case managers, and social workers collaborated well to support patients holistically. Leadership was generally supportive, and I had opportunities to grow professionally. The pay rate was fair. I’m grateful for my time there and would highly recommend it to other nurses looking for a place to grow, serve, and make a difference.

Cons

10-hour shifts full time Unable to accommodate school clinical schedule, no part-time positions in the department I worked in.
