Pros

You gain experience doing a lot of different jobs, not necessarily for the better.

Cons

Workload across departments or other categories is not even. Some areas are drowning while others are literally looking for work to do. EVERYTHING is micromanaged, from the "5:15's" you have to submit, to directors and senior managers needing to know your every move, not trusting you are doing your job. A lot of managers were hired in as management and have not had to work the lower levels. It is very clear they have no idea how much work the lower levels actually have to do. When you talk about it, they don't listen. Limited PTO and not a lot of holidays. Almost the entire merch org is new, yet leadership has not tried to uncover the root cause?? "Not expected" to work a lot of hours, but you actually are in order to get everything done fast. Burnout happens quick.

Pros

Their are not many pros to this company other then the pay you get until they decide they have too many people and let you go for any reason.

Cons

The cons are that you go through this rigorous training and are not told till the end of the training that you have 8 min AHT to take care of the customer. I was given a warning if my AHT did not improve and was given the impression that I would be terminated if my AHT did not improve. Finally, I was able to get my AHT to 5-6 min but it is not easy. Then the company had a ransomeware attack and after they recovered things seemed to slow down and they were overstaffed offering VTO almost everyday. At one point they asked if anyone wanted to go part time. My supervisor said my vacation time was approved but it wasnt and had a form for me to sign that if anything else happened I would be terminated. I decided to give my 2 weeks notice and they said since they are already offering Voluntary time off to people as it is that they wanted that day to be my last and would not give me 2 weeks. My evaluations always met expectations except for my AHT which I did correct so I was golden but they didn't need me anymore.

Pros

Easy to coast in your current role and secure that juicy 1% annual raise

Cons

Very high turnover. So many project managers with little experience getting paid more than the people they’re managing. IT system is unnecessarily complex and causes a lot of duplicate work between departments.
