Pros
Decent PTO & insurance offered
Cons
The following took place during the 3rd month of the new CEO: - Summer hours were taken away with no explanation and deflected any questions about in town halls. - Mandatory Return to office policy (after 4 years of remote work) with "unknown consequences" if unable to return, unless you had accommodation approval (which only put a target on your back) - Over 70 people were laid off the week of the Return to office policy start date. *Warnings* 1. Discrimination asking for ADA accommodation - Remote work accomodation was approved by Essendant and then swiftly laid off the following week of approval when the return to office policy took effect. 2. Unless you are part of the internal sorority/frat do not expect any type of promotion, raise or even recognition for hard work. 3. If you're role can not be quantified financially you are NOT important to the company and easily disposable. ----- I worked here for 7 years, I was the only person hired for my role. Who I reported to and the role itself changed Every. Single. Year. After all my time, hard work, flexibility to changes and contributions to the company - I was denied promotions & raises every year to only be laid off on a group call. While several coworkers hired after me were offered opportunities for growth & given several promotions EVERY YEAR.
