Hmmm. It seems as though we have many areas where we can improve according to this former employee. I agree we always need to strive to get better. I know I have addressed some of these issues in other posts but to reiterate. Yes we are small company that is in the midst of growing through a dramatic company and industry shift as we all build a recurring services business as a part of our overall company. By doing this we are inventing new processes and reviewing old ones to see if they can be improved. Change is hard, the management team (myself included) need constantly reinforce our strategies and find a way to ensure communication across the entire organization. We just launched a new review process that is designed to align individual performance with overall corporate goals. As we grow we the company we can grow the monetary rewards as well as provide additional opportunities for advancement. As stated in other posts if you take the opportunity to learn and contribute to the companies success there will be plenty of opportunities for new positions not just by staying in a single department.
