Pros

The owners built the Costa Mesa, Ca center with NO BREAK ROOM...that should tell you plenty. They also refused to provide drinking water and did not hire a cleaning service. So when you weren't doing an impossible 15 minute Brazilian....you were cleaning the center. Thirsty after all that? Too bad, bring your own water. Tired? No break room, eat in the same room on the same table you just waxed 5 vagina's on.

Cons

Our manager refused to ask guests if they'd like to leave a tip bc the script from HQ's says not to unless they're paying with credit card. This is to ensure that any extra money the guest has will go to PRODUCTS, not the waxer. They pay $8 an hour with 5% commission...nothing! So you'll be broke after long days of busting your butt selling products and doing 15 minute Brazilians.

Each is a franchise, and individually owned. So management is always a toss up.

I was hired as a wax specialist and went through training.It was very intense and stressful to memorize scripts and patterns in short length of time.I was determined to learn and to make this my career.I had a excellent wax trainer that went above and beyond to make sure I was trained !She ask me how did I feel after training.I told her I needed one more day to make sure its done properly bcz I didnt want a guest to come back complainin about her service.She said I will talk to my manager to see what we can do.I had 3 days off before my shift started and I took time to stud and prepare and I was ready!!I got a phone call from my manager to tell me I was let go bcz of m technique and to return my training tools.After I hung up I was angry bcz I gave my very best and I! waisted money on scrubs and tools that I will not use and no job!I thought I was hired when I filled out new hire forms.I do not want anyone to go thru what I experienced.I feel like the manager should have told me that after training Iam not gurantee a job or at least give me one more day!I felt decieved !The company has potential!After hearing simliar experiences from other people There protocol of hiring and leting people go sends a red flag!
