Pros

Free waxing, the friendships you build with employees and guest! These are the only pros working for this region once you get hired you will learn yourself this place is a complete joke!

Cons

Management gives false information. Management will make false reviews about this region to make it like this place is just fantastic and they will even stoop as low to get good friends with certain waxers so they can make a review just so the good will outweigh the bad! This center is a revolving door and if you aren’t friends or kiss up to management well good luck! Don’t waste your time, they will tell you that you can make $30 per hours when you can’t and us waxers aren’t able to make money when they continue to hire so many girls. Just watch your back if you plan to work at this location

Pros

Flexible work schedule, depending on how many people work there when you get hired.... shifts are short. Great job to have if you’re in school for something else.

Cons

If you want to be successful, this job is not for you. Management will probably not listen to any of your concerns or address any issues, ever. They cannot keep front desk people to save a life. There is literally always a new face up front. There is absolutely no communication between anyone besides through email. Most all waxers Besides maybe 1-2 of them will all gossip constantly about one another over literally nothing. The waxers constantly talk badly about management, front desk, and all other waxers. this is a VERY negative environment. They will schedule 3 people to work on a very slow day and then other days when the books are slammed you will be the only person working. Training is brutal, I heard one of the trainers said “If you don’t make your waxers cry during training you aren’t doing your job.” There is no room for growth and if you do so happen to receive a promotion every single waxer will be out to get you, leaving pots empty, counters dirty, knowing you work next and gossip about you, attack you personally. Again, ANY CONCERN YOU BRING TO MANGEMENT WILL NOT BE ADDRESSED. Management will only contact employees through email and trying to schedule a face to face interaction is nearly impossible, you will have to wait weeks. There is hardly ever management on the floor while you are working. Training is not thorough and they set you up to fail. They brag about high pay and high tipping scales but Its a complete lie. You would have to work here for at least 5 years to get To the pay scale they brag about, you’re better off elsewhere I promise. They will mess up your paychecks not once, not twice, but three times a least. You won’t even get PAID what you are SUPPOSED TO. And you constantly have to check to make sure they pay you correctly. During my time here I watched 4 people quit (waxers) in a month. Probably 10-15 different front desk people came and left in less than 6 months. Turnover is an understatement. The company stands for empowering women but at this location I can assure you that is NEVER the case. Please do yourself a favor and do not work here!!!!! You can do better.

Pros

Friendly coworkers. flexible scheduling. Learned some tips and tricks.

Cons

Didn't finish the training process. Was taught the "right" way to do things THREE DIFFERENT ways. Videos, and two different trainers. Trainer lifted skin in the bikini area on my friend who was also training. my friend also has a bald spot on her eyebrow from the trainer waxing her brows and has been complaining or constant itching for two weeks. Trainer also waxed my brows and made one A LOT shorter than the other which I had to correct on my own. Was also told during the free services to push products on people and when I finished the service, I was required to walk them to the 'product wall' and suggest products AND put them in their hands or give the to the front desk girls so that the customer "feels guilty and buys at least one product". My friend who was also training with me left as well. Both didn't agree with their policies. Both found better opportunities.
