      Pros

      The work atmosphere at European Wax Center is amazing --co-workers and management are unbeatable. This company delivers a high-quality service and has top-notch products to offer. There seems to be a lot of opportunities to grow with the company.

      Cons

      Pay-structure for non-management employees is not sustainable--even with the option to take home a percentage on sales. Also, "full-time" hours are not really full-time.

      Great first job experience out of cosmetology school

      Pros

      You're always guaranteed clients because these stores are always placed in high foot traffic areas and also because it is a well known franchise. Tips are always a plus!

      Cons

      You have no life...even on your day off you get called into work which I find incredibly rude. Way too fast pace and not high enough pay to motivate you to want to continue to work like that. The owners don't care if you have to go to the bathroom they just look at you like a machine and expect you to work yourself into exhaustion. Doesn't offer any kind of health benefits and your commission is only 5% ...it's pennies and not enough especially with how much pain staking work you put in. The pay is horrible you start at 8 and the highest they'll let you go to is 10. You definitely get burnt out and leave which is why this place has such a high turnover rate.

      Pros

      None for working there, well it was so awesome meeting new clients everyday and making them happy. Also gaining experience in full body waxing.

      Cons

      Time off is not aloud. You must push sales with every guest no matter what or your terminated. Every wax center has a extremely high turn over rate. So many burn complaints..: employees are instructed to lie for sales or will be fired on the spot. If you don't meet goal for the pay period your terminated. Front desk has to sell packages and will lie to older people to sell more or else they would be fired. They have no culture or value. And don't belive in a work life balance.
