Pros

Very clean inviting place, a great place and start for someone young and fresh out of beauty school looking for work very young atmosphere, wouldn't recommend it for a seasoned and well experienced esthetician that's been working there craft for sometime ..... there techniques and methods are completely different from what you may be use to, they do have good quality wax but not recommended for all parts of the body.

Cons

Feels like a sweat shop they have unrealistic timeframe guidelines and too many ridiculous rules and regulations. They only give you 15 min to complete every wax service except when doing full legs thats a 30 min service no matter what type of guests you may have and the wax is not practical to use for eyebrows its way too thick and leaves too much room for error. No benefits offered, Only focused and driven on sales they want you to talk about product's the entire time you're in the room with the guest which makes people feel very uncomfortable and annoyed. Over all for everything that you do its definitely not worth the low minimum wage pay even after the lowsy commission pay. Just overall needs better structure.

Pros

It was required that I enter at least 5 words for this section.

Cons

I was overworked and underpaid. I was the top selling GSA at my center. I reached my 10$ cap & I was then baited into being promoted to asst. mgr. and was only paid a measly 10.75$ an hour and did all the work my DM was suppose to do! She only worked 3 days a week btw. The staff always came to me with their issues (which was no big deal) but I was not able to handle most situations given the fact that I had limited to access to anything. It was a real time role reversal with me and the DM. Basically I did her job for her 40+ hrs a week and she received the pay for it.. The owners were okay, never came around much but when they did definitely listened to my concerns. But that's all they did. Mostly worked 9-10 hr days with alone with no breaks. The drama was ridiculous! People steal EVERYTHING! Money, lunch, personalized umbrellas, heck you name it! Turnover is horrible. I felt bad for the guests. One lady had been there since we opened our doors and had 6 different waxers. Who wants that many people in your private area? She'd bought several packages for different services for her and her daughter so she felt obligated to stay.. If you are a college student with financial help and just need grocery, gas, and weekend money.. Go for it, perfect fit! But if you are a licensed cosmetologist or esthtician use your hard earned license else where. You are worth more than that! I could go on and on until next Sunday but I think you get the drift. All in all I knew my worth and got the heck out.

Pros

Great co workers Great training Great tips For the most part, great clients

Cons

They are too willing to sacrifice staff safety in order to make more money. If a guest is drunk or high, he/she will be sent back with you. If the guest is on her cycle and refuses to follow the policy for such, you still have to wax her despite how unsafe that is. You want to wear a mask during a service? Too bad. Just because they supply them doesn't mean you're allowed to use them. It doesn't look nice. Extremely low pay and low commission for all the work you do. They treat the waxers like machines. If you have a full, back to back book and you get a walk-in 5 minutes before your next reservation, it doesn't matter if the other guest had made a reservation, she has to wait and be told "we're running behind" which only looks bad on the waxer. The 9-minute late policy is never honored, thus making you scramble to get all your services done on time. Bi-weekly meetings are a joke. You literally sit for an hour reading aloud what could have easily been sent in an email. Actually, all of it is available on the company database. Managers purposely mess with schedules, etc to be spiteful and catty sometimes.
