Pros

You make a difference in people's lives that are bed bound in nursing homes.

Cons

3 hours of meetings each week, that you do not get paid to attend: If I'm doing something work related, I should get paid. No PTO. Recent reductions in paid holidays. Minimal feedback to employees, and low respect toward employees. Employees are treated like graduate students, rather then experienced mental health clinicians. For example, I know the distinction between Adjustment Disorder and Major Depressive Disorder, and it's not necessary to train me in that differential diagnosis. Compensation is not consistent with the work expected.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and for the meaningful work you’ve done supporting our patients. We’re truly sorry to hear that your experience did not reflect the level of support and respect we strive to provide. We understand your concerns around unpaid meeting time, benefits, training relevance, and feeling undervalued. These are important issues, and we are actively working to improve how we support, recognize, and engage our clinicians. Your feedback is appreciated and helps guide our ongoing efforts to create a more positive and respectful workplace.

Pros

Some schedule flexibility and some great co-workers, Teletriage team to cover nights and weekends

Cons

Pay is terrible for what they expect of you, benefits are awful, they give you some gas money for your travel but their tire replacement and maintenance reimbursement is a joke so you are putting a lot of wear and tear on your car and not receiving a true mileage reimbursement, executive leadership is tone deaf, there are so many rules and regulations about what you can and cannot do and how you have to document that keeping up with that is almost a full-time job aside from seeing your patients, and their “training” is a joke.

Thank you for sharing your feedback and perspective. We’re glad to hear that schedule flexibility, supportive colleagues, and the teletriage team have been positive aspects of your experience. We also recognize the concerns you raised around compensation, benefits, travel expectations, training, and communication from leadership, and these are important areas we continually evaluate as we work to better support our clinicians. We appreciate you taking the time to provide this feedback.
